KREIS BACKS RSL

Real Salt Lake will be taking on LA Galaxy the second leg of the conference semifinal. Ahead of the match, Real Salt Lake manager Jason Kreis has said that LA Galaxy are in a great position despite the home advantage of his team. Kreis has said that LA Galaxy are a team who play extremely well on the counter-attack. He has also said that Bruce Arena makes his team defensively well-organised. Due to the 1-0 advantage they bring into the match, this match will be perfect for LA Galaxy according to Kreis.

Real Salt Lake have been on an excellent season so far, but they need to get past this difficult tie in order to show for their efforts this season. Sean Franklin scored the only goal of the game in the first leg. LA Galaxy are expected to put men behind the ball in the hope of protecting their advantage. In recent times, this has been a major source of problem for Real Salt Lake, as they have struggled to break down opposition with this tactical attitude. Captain Kyle Beckerman is staying positive because they have done well in order to reach this level.

He is confident of progress to the finals by beating LA Galaxy.

“I think that this game, unfortunately, plays to the Galaxy’s strength. We understand that we are in a dangerous position. But, so what?” It’s what they do well. They defend very well, and they counter very well,” said Kreis. “No reason to be down. We also played the whole season to be in a situation to get into a position where you have the second leg at your place. It’s all there for us,” said RSL captain Kyle Beckerman to the reporters.

Real Salt Lake have not been involved in league matches since the last week of October.
