PROMISING START

The start of the season appeared to be very promising for San Jose Earthquakes after the arrival of Yannick Djaló. The striker has already shown glimpses for what he can do to the attack of the team, but the 28-year-old has also shown his negative aspect as well.

The player has already missed a lot of action for his team due to muscular injuries. He was recently taken off after just 14 minutes in the 3-2 defeat against Vancouver Whitecaps. After the match, San Jose Earthquakes manager Mark Watson claimed that the injury troubles faced by Djaló is proving to be frustrating for the club.

It is now looking highly unlikely that he will take part in the match against Colorado Rapids on Wednesday night, according to the england uruguay odds website. Watson did not appear to have a lot of confidence after the latest training session for the team. Watson says that there is a pattern developing in terms of the injury he has been sustaining, although this has partly been because of the demanding fixture schedule for the club in the last week. They have already played three matches in the space of eight days. Due to the tough run of form, the club are sitting just one place above the bottom of the table.

“Obviously, he’s got issues that we need to get resolved. There’s a little pattern developing in terms of, he recovers from an injury pretty quickly, and then can’t get through the game or can only get through a couple minutes. We’ve got to figure that one out, so we can get him on the field and get him to finish games. I didn’t actually see the goal because I was kind of watching Yannick to see if it was an injury that would require a sub,” said the manager after the latest training session.
