Oscar Pareja claimed that his FC Dallas team running at Worst Times

Oscar Pareja claimed that his FC Dallas team did not have any answers to the opposition in their latest 4-0 loss against New York Red Bulls.

This was the second consecutive heavy defeat suffered by the team. Dallas were defeated 3-0 by Vancouver Whitecaps only a week earlier. The result now threatens to dislodge Dallas from the top of the table. They have played two more games than Colorado Rapids, who are just one point behind. Questions will be asked about manager Pareja, who claimed that he did not have the answers following this crushing defeat.

It is also noteworthy that Dallas have been on a poor run of form from the start of the campaign, but only on the road. They have suffered defeat against Houston Dynamo, Vancouver Whitecaps, and New York Red Bulls all away from home. Pareja claimed that the team did not come into the game with the intention of parking the bus and defending with everything they had. He claimed that New York Red Bulls were so impressive in every area of the pitch that his team simply could not cope for much longer. Dallas conceded just one goal in the first half with the remaining three coming in the second half pointing out to a collapse.

“The intention wasn’t just to park the bus in the back. The intention was to come and look for them, but I’m going to tell you: New York was much, much better than us in every area. In fact, New York dominated from the first minute to the last one. We didn’t have answers for New York. They played very well tonight,” said Pareja. “We have to find answers. We have to find a way to get results away from home. It’s not the time panic, not yet,” said midfielder Victor Ulloa.
